I took the Schumacher out this morning to test the Hobbywing 9T 4300kv motor. That would make the car steer to one side as the larger wheel would be trying to cover more ground than the smaller one. When I did this I noticed one of the tyres had come unglued from the wheel and was ballooning more than the one on the opposite side. the DM-1 looks like I can get a spur as small as 47T. the GTP2e has a better internal ratio for top speed but it comes with just a 51t spur and from what I have found they don't sell any optional spurs in smaller sizes. I learned it is worthwhile putting the car on a block and running up to maximum revs today. It has a 3.14:1 diff ratio and the DM-1 has a 3.30:1 diff ratio. ![]() New pinion gears coming and higher kv motors planned for the future. Last time out I got 101 kph on a 3s lipo so it will be interesting to see what speed the new setup returns. Any questions on specs or anything else just ask and ill tell. That is another 1300kv more than the original motor I put in the Schumacher in the beginning and I will leave the same gear ration in that I ran last time I used the Schumacher.
